Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs AP invoice input, primarily focusing on Concessionaire invoice input, maintenance and distribution; acts as backup to all other AP input.
  • Reconciles between Concessionaire invoicing and third-party reporting for customer electronic payments with E-Cash along with related payables accounts.
  • Process and record cash receipts (including electronic) related to accounts receivable and other payments.
  • Reconciles Petco Park Event support labor payroll entries. Makes necessary reclassifications and adjustments.
  • Reviews and prepares monthly entries related to parking revenue and expenses.
  • Reconciles game day special events.
  • Reconciles authentic merchandise sales.
  • Maintains schedule and log of unclaimed property for state escheatment reporting requirements.
  • Imports, review expenses and maintain general ledger for training complex in the Dominican Republic.
  • Serves as backup support for Concur travel and expense system.
  • Assists in the preparation of year-end 1099’s and 1096’s. Ensures proper TIN and W-9s are on file.
  • Prepares necessary journal entries, accruals, general ledger imports, account schedules, and other related issues.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
  • Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

Must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent field.
  • 1 to 2 years’ prior experience.
  • Computer skills required; must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Must be able to bend and stoop while filing.
  • Must be exceptionally detail-oriented.
  • Professional image and demeanor.
  • Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
  • Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
  • Possess very high degree of discretion and professionalism.
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
